We're 7 days away from packing the car and beginning our 3,000 mile journey from Bakersfield to DC.
Our schedule as of this moment:
Nov. 12, 2012: Leave Bakersfield after Liz attends a mandatory meeting at the Chamber of Commerce.
Seven hours on the road to Williams, AZ
Nov. 13: Grand Canyon!!!
7.5 hours on the road to Santa Fe, NM
Nov. 14: Hang out in Santa Fe with Fred
4.5 hours on the road to Amarillo, TX
Nov. 15: Drive, drive, drive. (This is the longest driving day.)
4.5 hours on the road to Oklahoma City, OK, then 5 hours to Little Rock, AR
Nov. 16: Begin the Tennessee leg of the trip! Graceland!
2 hour drive to Memphis, TN
THEN... 3.5 hours to Nashville, TN
Nov. 17: Nashville... Country Music Hall of Fame!
3.5 hours on the road to Jellico, TN
Nov. 18: Start with a drive through the Smoky Mountains

Sight-seeing while on our way to Asheville, NC, then Spruce Pine to see Michelle!
Five hours on the road from Jellico to Spruce Pine
Nov. 19: Drive, drive, drive.
7 hours on the road to Washington, DC.
Nov. 20-21: See the nation's capital and hang out with Kelley and Kristin!
Nov. 22: Board a plane to take us home to Bakersfield just in time for Thanksgiving dinner!
